TL-2000 Coverage Calculator

Calculate required material mass in kg or lbs, total surface coverage area, liquid volume in liters and gallons, and optional diluent additions based on official HALIK application rates.

Engineering Disclaimer (Beta): Estimations provided by this coverage model are for planning and preliminary budgeting purposes only. Actual application rates and penetration depths vary depending on pavement porosity, surface oxidation, micro-texture, and environmental conditions. Always execute a test patch before broad commercial application.

Official Application Guidelines
1
Surface Preparation
Pavement must be thoroughly clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, and oil stains. Crack sealing and pothole patching must be completed prior to application.
2
Temperature & Weather Requirements
Ambient and pavement surface temperature must be at least 10°C (50°F). Do not apply if rain is expected before complete dry film formation.
3
Material Homogenization
Stir TL-2000 thoroughly ensuring zero sedimentation. If working at 10–15°C or deeper penetration is required, blend with 10–20% technical xylene.
4
Application Technique
Apply using distributor spray bar or rubber squeegees. Maintain a uniform thin wet layer. Apply firm downward pressure when spreading to prevent ponding.
5
Curing & Traffic Return
Full cure is typically reached within 1 hour at 25°C (77°F). Treat pavement as active work zone; keep all vehicular traffic off until fully dry and non-tacky.
